About Kyle Bronstein

Founder, Deep Learning Finance

Kyle is a lifelong personal finance nerd who started Deep Learning Finance to build the resource he wishes existed when he was 22: a no-nonsense, math-forward guide to budgeting, investing, FIRE, credit, and debt. No fluff, no affiliate-first recommendations, no "this one weird trick." Just real numbers, real trade-offs, and honest analysis of what actually works.

He spent years working the spreadsheets behind his own budget, tracking every dollar through zero-based cash-flow systems, running calculators for his own 401(k), Roth IRA, and HSA contribution order, and comparing the real-world outcomes of popular debt payoff strategies at every balance tier. When he couldn't find a single site that laid all of this out clearly for people who like to read the receipts before making decisions, he started writing one.

Deep Learning Finance covers every major pillar of personal finance: budgeting, investing, FIRE and early retirement, credit cards, debt payoff, and retirement account strategies. Every guide is written with the assumption that you, the reader, can do math and want to.

The editorial approach

We don't publish anything we wouldn't do ourselves. When we recommend a product, it's because the math works, the terms are transparent, and the user experience holds up. When we're skeptical of something popular (looking at you, for-profit debt settlement), we say so plainly and show you the comparison.

All guides are fact-checked against primary sources (IRS publications, Federal Reserve data, SEC filings, provider disclosure documents) and updated periodically as rules change. Every affiliate disclosure on the site is FTC-compliant. Nothing is pay-for-placement.
